SoundPro SP-PSM-4
Anyone have any experience with this Mic:
SoundPro SP-PSM-4 Powered Pattern Selectable (Omnidirectional and Cardioid) Mono Microphone: http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi?item=SP-PSM-4 Seems to be a direct competitor to the ATR-55 They also have 2 Stereo mics for $140 each SP-ECM-MS907 SP-PSM-3 Any impressions would be helpful - thanx

You get what you pay for. The mini jack coming off the end of it tells me right away its not worth your time. I would rather have one good mic @ $5-700.00 than a bunch of lesser quality mics at a bargain price. The only way you will know if its suits your needs is to hear how it holds up in the real world and stop beliving the marketing BS. If they have a good return policy like B&H, try it out, and see how it holds up.

Actually I decided to get the AT897 - its a cheap mic also but everyone here speaks so highly of it I figured I might as well go for it.
I guess in its case you get more than what you pay for. I also bought a Lightwave mini-mount and mini-screen for it. Should be more than enough for good general audio me thinks.
