Looking for a "radio" plugin
Hello.
I'm looking for a direct-x plugin that would make my sound sample something resembling turning the tuning bar in typical analog radio as if I were switching channels. Any suggestions? regards |

That's a toughie....One thing you could try, is to record a radio doing the tuning, load that as a wav file into a convolution reverb such as Sony's Acoustic Mirror, and then use the resultant impulse file to drive the sound of your radio dial moving across stations.

This is normally done by mixing in a sound fx audio track of the "radio being tuned" with your music track. There are a bunch of this type of radio sound fx around, or you can create your own.
