Sennheiser G2

I've had the G2 ENG package for a couple of months, and so far, it has been bulletproof. I recently helped a friend shooting an event, using the G2, both lav and plug-on with a Shure SM58. I've been after him for a while to upgrade his crappy VHF Samson wireless kit, which he always thought was "fine."

After hearing the results of the G2, he literally took a hammer to his Samson unit and ordered a G2 kit.

He's a video guy, without a whole lot of audio background, but he always assumed the problems he had with audio were just "what happens", and was used to poor quality and occasional dropouts. We had none of that, even though the event was in an interference-prone area (downtown San Francisco).

As someone mentioned above, you DO get a smile on your face every time you take it out of the bag.
