R.I.P. Les Paul, Guitar legend/inventor
For all those who know his contributions to the music business, and his contributions to multitrack recording/audio, the passing today of Les Paul at 94 will cause a tear to be shed...
Probably not much of a "video" connection, but I see so many here who also came out of the audio/music side of the industry, I'm sure many here will feel the loss of a true artist, inventor and innovator. Rock on, Les... 2009 is turning into quite the year of "passing", so many HUGE contributors to our lives and memories are "moving on". |

Les Paul, Guitar/Studio Innovator, Passes at 94
A good man who added much to our lives, musically and
professionally. If anybody does not know the accomplishments of this gentleman, you certainly should. This goes for video people as well. Les had much to do with the development of the video/videotape format. I was fortunate enough to meet Les a number of times at local music stores and restaurants in the NYC burbs. RIP Les. |
