what is the best sound effects cds?
what is the best sound effects bank (or library, or whatever you call them cd's with hundreds of effects on them) out there? i need a bunch of effects quick and just want to get some cd's with excellent sounding effects and samples.

That's like asking which is better, blonde, brunette, or redhead?
I like SoundDogs for this, and the Lucas library is good too. You didn't specify what kinds of sounds you are looking for overall...that will dictage the library that will work best for you.

thanks for the replies. douglas, at the moment i'm looking for winds, swaying branches of trees, leaves, birds and cars passing by. but what i want in general is to have a bunch of cd's on my shelf with follies and effects for whatever i may need in the future. i've seen cd's like that around. some better, some worse. i'm looking for reccommendations.
