rode ntg-2 crec-crec noise on canon xha1
I've just tried the new rode ntg-2 micro on the canon XHA1 recording an interview. The sound was fine at manual, medium levels but I had a problem. Once in a while, maybe once every 20 minutes a crec-crec noise appeared don't know where from and was not just the headphoes as unfurtonatly was recorded.
Anybody knows why and where is this from? Should I change the micro? |

Alioshka this has been posted before. The op had made up his own mic cable and last we heard he was going to check the earth lead was good.
Suggest you change mic cables. Cheers. |

Even though your cable is new, I'd try another one in case it fixes the problem. Never buy the cheap ones off Ebay, especially if you want long mic cable over a couple of metres. Cheers. |
