Diversity or not?
OK, there's TONS of great opinions in this forum about wireless, but I'm confused about whether true-diversity is better. I keep hearing people recommend the Senn EVO 100. But how important is it to have a true diversity system? I will be doing weddings and dramas, feeding into a PD150. For the dramas, I'd like to use the plun-on transmitter with a PZM or some such setup. Thoughts?
Thanks, Tony |

You are going to do what ? dramas? with pzm
good idia if take place in not mooving car, bad idia for normal use , find someone that can take you to shooting location before you ruine your way to socsses good directional mike on the boom will be much better first step. divercity or not dyvercity this is wery symple unswer - dyvercity -better reseption ,grater rang less problems ,esspesially if you are working one man band |

Let me clarify "drama". I mean live theater. I try to get a feed from the house, and use a shotgun for ambiance, but I thought a pzm would be good for picking up the on-stage audio.

then it might work , if it wery noicy stage , plase the pzm on flexi glass and put some foam under for better shock isolaition , usially one pzm is not enough for 10m stage , you need atleast 2or 3 like that to cover all. another way to cover the stage is to hang the pzm from above on squer flexi (50cm) , working well in small places
