Sandisk - Sony Memory Stick Equivalants?
Does anyone know if there is a chart or table somewhere that shows how the various Sony Memory Stick models translate to SanDisk models? I don't see anything on either manufacturer's website, and my usual friend Google has not turned anything up for me, either. The target use is a Sony PCM-D50. Thank you!

I don't think there's a chart per se, but generally speaking there's the original "big" memory sticks, and a "pro" version thereof, I think Sandisk made both...
Then there is the MS DUO, which is the smaller physical size, Sandisk makes a number of variations, mainly with different speed capabilities - but they are usually 100% compatible with Sony from my experience, just be sure you don't get knockoffs though, the MS Duo is a high $ counterfiet item, and has been for some time. |

Thanks. I'm really trying to cross-reference speed. It looks like none of the Sandisk MS cards are as fast as the Sony Pro HG. The Pro HG is the only Sony MS that doesn't get one kind or qualification or another on this Sony chart: Sony eSupport - Electronics - Support Information. However, most of those with footnotes seem to relate to the five second pre-record buffer. I'm not sure where the Sandisk III or the supposedly faster Sandisk video MS would fit in...
