Microphone mounting to GL-2
I am using an AT897 short shotgun microphone and an AT8415 shock mount - which I use with a microphone boom. But I'd like to connect the shockmount directly to the shoe that's on top of the MA-300 audio adapter on my GL-2.
Is there an adapter that will slide into the shoe mount with a threaded bolt facing upward so I could screw the 8415 shock mount onto it? The shoe on the MA-300 has no electrical connections. It's just a physical mount point so it would be perfect if I can find the right adapter... By the way, I know there is a microphone clamp on the MA-300 already but it doesn't work with mics that are as small in diameter as the 897 and anyway it doesn't provide as much isolation from the camera.
