eBay mic....looks good?

I was searching eBay for a shotgun mic when i came across this, any good or all worn out?

its German , the s**t doesnt stick to that product, i'd be more worried about the extras :-)

It doesn't appear worn out at all. Looks like it's in great shape. Hypercardioid, from the looks of it.

it's a sennheiser MKH 416 short shotgun. It's a super cardoid or lobar. It has a really tight pattern and considered one of "The Shotguns" to own. New at B&H they run $1000 US

That DOES appear to have a really tight pattern.

I wonder if they considered posting a little sound file of what they're recording there.

I wonder if it includes a "mic muff" or as sennheiser calls it, a "Hairy Cover"(MZH60-1)
