Help! Need to convert to 12 bit!
Help!
I've got some DV footage that was recorded with 12 bit audio. I don't have time to re-capture all the footage. But, I can re-encode a couple short "wav" files that contain music for my open and close credits to 12 bit that I need! Is there a OSX freeware app that'll convert "wav" files into 12 bit? Thanks!! I'm on a deadline to finish this by 4pm EST, so I'm sorry for the "help" thing! Murph

Your editing system won't accept 16 bit sound and mix it with 12 bit?

If your NLE won't do this (FCP will) then Peak will do this easily, even LE, I believe. I don't have LE installed on my Powerbook so can't check, but the full version, and the upgrade chart on the BIAS website says that LE can do this.
