Marantz cdr-300 on the move?
Anyone know if this is built to withstand mild shock?
I'm looking for something I can use slung over my shoulder. The idea of being able to keep everything on cheap cdrs is real appealing, but I'm wondering if walking around gives you dropouts or skips. |

From what i've heard and read, this is strictly a static recorder and not to be moved when operating.

I was advised that the CDR300 was a static unit. I opted for the flash recorder. If I want to store my audio on CD I connect the PMD670 to my computer USB and drag and drop the files onto a CD.
Try www.dv.com on the audio forum and run a search. Jay Rose has some comments on the portability. |

A good companion to the PMD-670 should be the Disc Stano CP200 by Apacer. The Disk Stano CP200 is a new model and will be available in Dec.
