Music copyright - online broker??
A friend of mine told me he found a website (though now can't remember the name) that acted as an online broker for copyright music. According to him, you could select just about any mainstream song to ever hit the charts, select your intended use, and how many copies - and it calculated a price.
This site apparently deals with the copyright owners for you, so it's a quick and easy way to buy legal copyright content for your productions. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? Sounds possible, as the record producers are loosing a lot of $$$ from royalties becuase people don't have the first clue how to get actual legal permission to use most copyrighted works. |
