Sony ECM-300 mic- if you've heard of it...
Sony ECM-300 mic- if you've heard of it...can you give me your opinion.
I believe it is a mic used formerly on a Sony brand pro-camera. I've done some searching but no links. Vi(^; --------------------------------- "Nakinasai, warainasai..." |

ECM-300 does not sound familiar. However, Sony does have an ECM-R300 which is a table-top boundary type mic.

Sony ECM-300 mic
Yes, actually I pulled that code up in a search it's diffferent.
--But thanks for the comment. I believe the mic (shotgun) was used primarily on older SONY (domestic markt.--Japan only?) broadcast cameras.

The ECM-300 microphone that I know about is made by Sennheiser. Costs about $200. All plastic. Super hot. Not a good match for Sony cameras in general.
