Sd 302?
I got my SD 302 and so far I love it with the A1, I do have to have my pods turned all the way up but seems to be much better audio.
Here are a couple questions. I would love to be able to record to my Sony PCM D50 recorder and my Canon XH-A1 at the same time, can this be done with out having to go mono to my XH-A1. My PCM D50 accepts a stereo 1/8 miniplug for the microphone / line in. Also I seem to be getting good audio but my volume controls on the XH-A1 have to be all teh way up, is there anything wrong with that. Audio seems to be real clean, but just wanted to check. Thanks |

Use the tape out connector on your 302 to your Sony PCM D50
As for the pots wide open on your camera.. I usually don't like doing that on all cameras, but that one is an exception. |

Thanks for the coment. I really like everything about the setup, was hoping this would not be a problem with ports wide open.

I analyzed SD302 to "pots open" XH-A1 connection with Adobe Audition: S/N ratio was over 90 dB! That's almost the theoretical maximum, can not ask for anything better.
I see the pots as attenuators with line in, not amplifiers. Nothing wrong in turning attennuation all way off... |

Hi Denny, what you need is the "XL-3" 3.5mm to TA3-F cable which you plug into the "tape out" on the 302. In my case I use it with an Edirol R-09 recorder and it works really well.
