what happen to my vx-2000 audio on...

when I play back my footage on my vx-2000 I cant hear hear the audio coming out of camera--I'm able to hear it when I put in headphones but, it just stop working all of a sudden-could it be a short? or what? help please.

I don't own a VX-2000, but couldn't it be something simple as
audio volume turned down or muted?

Hey, also try going into the VCR menu and under VCR set go into HiFi Sound...there u can choose how the sound is sent to the speaker. The latest project I am working on I can hear the audio fine in the speakers, but to hear it good on the on-board speaker I must go here and select "1". Hopefuly this helps
