"Snowball" mic
Apple is marketing a USB connected 2 cardiod position microphone made by Blue mics. Anyone had any experience with this mic for VOs?

Ed,
Here is a good review of the mic from last year. I've not used one but heard very, very good feedback. Snowball Professional USB Microphone mike |

I've used it for VO a few times .... it's not a bad mic. You might like to compare it to the Røde Podcaster first though.

very cool. No latency. Decent headphone amp. I used ribbons, dynamics and condensers.

I recently bought the Snowball Mic by Blue, and I haven't put it through any sort of rigorous tests, and I don't have the ability to speak of its overall professional quality, but just on a basic voiceover level, it works wonderfully.
That review that is linked above helped make the choice for me. For its price, the snowball is hard to beat. |

Snowball USB mic
Thanks Mike, for the link. Read it and bought the mic. List on the link is $139.00, Apple stores sell it for $100.00.
