Atr-55

Yes, I know it has been written before, but I just received the Audio Technica ATR-55 and it actually performs well. Granted, it's not a Neumann or a Schoep's but it's not supposed to be :-).This camera is awesome for beginning indie film makers(or anyone really) who don't have the budget for anything more, but want do dump the nasty on board mic. I plugged the mic into my ZR800(Heavenly audio), then unplugged it(not so heavenly audio). The rejection is pretty good, and as long as you place it properly, it should serve you well.
