Cheap Audio Mixer for my HD100 Shoots?
I have a boom sounds ok connected to my Hd100 xlr..but I was told I should use a mixer then to cam anyone know what kind of mixer I need?at a low price of course.lol

I have a Rolls 422 for my personal kit. We use a Sound Devices 442 at work. The sound is pretty good on the Rolls and it's pretty well built as well. Not as good overall as the Sound Devices... but at $499 (1/6th the price!), you can't beat it in my book.

There have been a fair number of posts along this line around here lately. You might want to do some searches. My own feeling is that having a quality mic will make a bigger difference than having a budget mixer, or even a quality mixer. That's making an assumption, I know. Just telling you my philosophy. I was on a shoot where the production company supplied a Rolls 422, and they seemed happy with it. It's not something I'd invest in myself though.
