Difference? Sennheiser ew100engg2 and ew112pg2?
Hey Guys, I was wondering if someone could tell me what the diffence is between the Sennheiser ew100engg2 wireless mic and the Sennheiser ew112pg2? Is the 112 the newer model?
Thanks Gary |

The "ENG" model includes a "Plug-On" or "Butt-Plug" transmitter in addition to the regular transmitter. Thus you get two transmitters, but only one receiver.
Unless you purchase a second receiver, you can only use one transmitter at a time.

I know this is a dumb question, but what does the Plug on do?

The butt plug allows you to connect a dynamic/battery powered mic of your choice. Making any dynamic/battery powered wired mic, wireless.

And some Plug-On or "Butt-Plug" transmitters provide phantom power so that they can be used with phantom powered microphones.
