zeppelin fit?
How closely must a zeppelin fit a specific microphone to work effectively? I regularly use three mics, an AT4053a (6.1" long), an AT4073a (9.13"), and an AT835b (14.53"). Do I need three different-sized zeppelins?
Thanks. |

Depends on the zepplin. The Rycote windscreen I've used has an extra section you can add to accommadate longer mics. Still, for something as short as the AT4053a, I'd want something smaller, like the baby ball gag, just for the convenience of handling. A zepplin is a somewhat awkward beast (at least to me).

rycote has a new modular system worth checking out. just add in the extra section. sounds like you need a short base kit, with one longer extension
