Using Rode NTG-1 on a computer
Hi all,
I just purchased a Rode NTG-1 shotgun microphone to use on my Canon XH-A1 camera. I would also like to use it for narration work and get it hooked up to my computer so I can use SoundForge or Vegas to record directly. I know I can use the camera as a recorder but I'm just trying to save some time and record directly. My question is: What is the best way to plug an XLR Microphone, which requires phantom power, to my computer? Do I need a special card, cable, etc? Thanks in advance, Benoit Bissonnette |
