Looking for a piece of music for a film
Hello everyone. I am in need of a particular piece of opera music to use in a soon to be shooting short 16mm film. I am looking for a copy of O Suave Fanciulla from the opera La Boheme that I can actually get permission/rights to use for the films final moments and maybe under the credits.
I have already e-mailed Boyd, a regular of several groups here for advice but if anyone has any experience getting rights for opera please get in touch with me via the e-mail address listed here, I don't get to these forums too much lately but would really appreciate the help. You can check out my simple "street cred" at my web sites listed in the signatures. I have 2 shorts on MTV Italy and had several odd shorts in festivals and screenings here in the US and France. I always give credit where it's due and especially on the screen. My pieces have all been pretty simple but I rather like them and I am moving up with this one by shooting on 16mm film so if you can, help a fellow filmmaker out. I would appreciate any help you might have to offer.
