Me-66 Compatability problems
I have had problems using an me-66 with my xl-1. I can get audio but it is low. I called Sennheiser's tech support this morning and the guy said he also has had problems with the me-66 and the MA-100. I believe I have all the settings in the menue correct. I am not using the atinuator mic. I'm almost convinced its my mic at this point. But if I'm missing something obvious please let me know. The tech from Sennheiser said he had called Cannon about this a while ago, but Cannon was un-cooperative and merly told him it was incompatable with the Canon XL-1.
Thanks for any help, Bryan

I have a gadget that checks the battery levels. Yes my batteries are fine. I am going to take it to a freind's house and hook it directly to a amp. If its still too low, I believe it may be the mic. I don't know what else...it seems as though allot of people are using this mic with thier xl-1
