boom recorder type software for pc on horizon?
Anyone know if there will be a Boom Recorder/Metacorder type option in plans for devolpment anytime soon for the PC?
Also, do you find the noise from your laptop a hinderance in very quiet situations when recording with the Boom Recorder type software? Thanks for any input. Man, I always had a thing against Mac's as being too yuppy for me, but looks I may just have to cave in to "the white side" soon. |

All the people I know using Boom Recorder are doing it on their cart, which is typically pretty far away from the source. If it was not on a cart, I still doubt it would be close enough to the microphone(s) to be an issue. How were you thinking of using your laptop in the field? Maybe that will shed some light on this.
