Audio out of sync with 23.98 footage

I shot a long 60 minute interview with no stops to tape on a Canon A1 at the 24f setting. When I import the footage the audio becomes more and more out of sync as the clip plays.

Is there a quick fix to get the audio to stay in sync? I am using PPro 2.0. When the interview plays from the tape to a monitor it is fine.

Either your computer is not fast enough, or the program can't do it. I'm not familiar with Premire, but I've seen this happen many times with FCP, even the latest version FCP2 on a 3.0 quad core intel mac. Final Cut just looses it when getting close to the hour mark. Also experienced this with an older Media 100 with hardware boards. Avid.... never seen it do it on an Avid.
When it's out of sync and you stop the timeline, and start again where you left off, is it in sync again?
