I'm putting together a budget for a travel show and would love some suggestions. The show will consist of a small crew traveling along a particular highway through the US and Mexico and shooting towns, people, geography along the way. Small crew, will most likely have 3-5 person teams (2 teams out shooting at a time. Other than a mixer, good wireless and a good shotgun, what else would you suggest for such a production? I'd have 2 wireless and one shotgun and a mixer with each of the two crews and a backup of 1 wireless and 1 shotgun. The output for this is broadcast tv.
