What's the best way to store your mic?

I presently leave my mic on the shockmount inside the blimp and still on the boom pole. It's on a c-stand in my studio. Is this okay, or am i allowing it to be susceptible to moisture leading to fungus and ????

Or is the safety of it's original box the best? I've read about airtight baggies with silica gel bags...

What do you pros do?

Thanks,
Lonnie

Speaking of mic storage.. anyone know where I can pick one of these up.. When I lived in DC, I think Vark Audio had them, but I'm wondering if there are any other places?
