Anyone had any experience with dB technologies wireless lavs?
Hi everyone...
Sorry if this has been asked before (I did soem searching and came up with nothing), but does anyone have any experience or opinions on dB technologies PU 901 L wireless lav systems? I don't know too much about audio equipment/quality but I have the chance to pick up too of them for a nice cheap sum....worth it? For the record I'll be using them with a Canon XL2 camera......thanks in advance ya'll!

From the little info I could find on their website.
The 901 seems to be running on 9V batteries. http://www.dbtechnologies.com/mod_ne...TOKEN=19900528 Considering newer wireless sets run on AA batteries. Maybe you could consider a JTS unit, Audio Technica or AKG? |

No experience with this brand, the product features on the site look good. This equipment is oriented towards stage performance, they don't appear to have a battery-powered receiver appropriate for using on a camera.
If you're shooting in-studio or have access to mains power it might be worth a serious look. |
