Re: new firmware update - also guide to do it
Jon,
Would you say this update doesn't benefit Sony F3's much? I really wish we can record our 50 fps clips onto the Mini rather than the lower quality cards on the camera. |

Re: new firmware update - also guide to do it
Brian L. - The Ki Pro Mini does not provide support for 1080p 50 or 1080p 59.94/60. Those high bandwidth formats require the use of dual link 1.485Gbps connections or a single 3Gbps connection. The Ki Pro Mini only offers a single link 1.485Gbps connection.
Since there are new features in each of our firmware updates - that are not specific to the cameras the Ki Pro Mini might be connected to - we always recommend using the latest firmware version offered. Hope this information is helpful, Jon Thorn Senior Product Manager AJA Video Systems, Inc. |
