KI Pro Mini - 4 Audio Channel? cheaper Cards?
I have decide until the 10th of December: nanoflash or ki pro mini?
I need to have cards to record at least four hours per day (cannot download). If only the expensive 600x work with the ki pro, than that makes about 2000 Euros for the four cards i need. Too much. Please! let us SOON know if there is an alternative! One more thing that is important for my decision: can I record 2 additional audio channels via xlr? in addition to the embedded audio channels via sdi? |

Thomas D. - The list of approved compact flash cards for use with Ki Pro Mini should be forthcoming soon.
Ki Pro and Ki Pro Mini only support one audio source at a time; you cannot combine sources of audio. You need to choose between SDI embedded or analog balanced XLR for example. Ki Pro and Ki Pro Mini are designed to support up to 8 channels of SDI embedded audio. Regards, Jon Thorn Product Manager AJA Video Systems, Inc. |

thanks for the quick reply.
i think a lot of professional cameramen are in a similar situation: they need to spend money before the end of the year - because of the tax. so a list of approved cards would really help! |
