Tiffen filter look...simple question
Simple question for those who know...but a challenging one for me!
I've just watched an introduction to Tiffen filters on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssx40e6Jrts& As an idiots guide to filters I thought it was really informative. My question is: what's available in PPro to achieve the same effects in post? I guess we are talking about plug-ins - perhaps Magic Bullet or Boris? Are there any settings that advanced users can share?

You can make some nice FX just using color correction and blurring.
For soft, you can place a clip over it's self (same clip on 2 layers), then use blurring and dial down the opacity on the top layer. I like magic bullet for it's diffusion and tinting but you can do a lot without it. Jon |
