Multi Cam Audio Question
We do 2 camera wedding shoots. We mic the groom and the podium (for the readers) and put that on camera A. We mic the priest and put that on camera B along with ambient sound.
We do the multi-cam edit in Premiere Pro 2.0. We bring in the 2 video sources fine, but the only audio we end up being able to bring in is the 2 mics from camera A. Is there any way to bring in the audio from camera B as well? Any help will be appreciated! |

From the manual:
To use the audio from track 1 regardless of which camera is active, make sure that Audio Follows Video is deselected in the Multi-Camera Monitor panel menu. To change the audio track as you change the camera, select Audio Follows Video. Also, note that only audio tracks 1-4 can be used. Anything higher will not be available in multi-cam mode (same goes for video tracks). |

Thanks for the reply. We don't want the audio to follow the video in all cases though. Pretty much the only time we want to have the priest's mic from camera B is during his sermon as he's walking around. We will be going back and forth with the video as he's doing his sermon, but would want all the sound to come from his mic. Is there a way to do that?

Maybe just copy the audio and put it on separate track after you've made your multicam edit?
