Remove Pulldown is Grayed Out
I shot some HD footage with a Sony V1U in 24pA. I capture the footage in Adobe with the HDV 1080 30 (Sony 60i) preset. I've been told to then right click the clip and I should be able to check the Remove Pulldown box to get it to 24pA, but it is grayed out.
Am I missing a step somewhere? |

Have you tried a recording in the regular 24p mode and not the "A" mode?

Hey Alec, have you figured out anything else to solve your problem with Premiere Pro and the 24P on your V1U camcorder?
Cause I'm in the same boat. I'm glad I can customize a timeline in Premiere Pro CS3 to suit 24fps, but it still can't remove the 24P footage from the 60i stream properly I don't think. I tried right clicking on the video clip and manually setting the frame rate to 24, but I'm suspicious. Something tells me it's not smart enough to do this properly. Anyone have any idea what it's doing? |

Could it be because you are trying to remove the pulldown from a 60i project? Try importing the footage into a 24p project.
