Mixing 24p and 24f footages

hi,
I am thinking to get a Xh-1A as a second camera to my DVX100A. I would like to shoot at 24p and edit the clips with PP 2.0 in progressive. I would like to know:
- what workflow should I adopt?
- Should I shoot at 24p or 24pa with the DVX?
- Import the clips (24p/pa/f) and edit them in which preset? HDV 24p or Canon 24f?
- Anything that I should be aware of?

The final video will be burnt on a DVD in 24p.

Thanks!
