recorded in hdv, print to tape in sd/dv?

Hey, so I shot a short 10minute movie last week and we've been editing it for the last while.. editing in premiere pro 2 using the cineform intermediate codec/profile.. 1080 24f..
the festival we're submitting the movie too is asking for 3 screener dvds and 1 minidv cassete. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions before I attempt to do this, perhaps ways to keep the quality as high as possible.

I'm thinking I just need to export as cineform avi and use virtualdub or similar to encode it to dv using say panasonic dv codec? resize to 720x480 but with proper aspect ratio etc..

dvd isnt a problem since CCE can already handle it fine.

thanks guys, i'll post my results when i'm done for other peoples future reference.
