interlaced stills
Good Morning,
I shot a skating event and shot it in 60 i, I have taken stills out of it and when previewed on the tv some of the stills appear to be shimmering or bouncing back and forth between two images. Is it possible to de interlace these stills??? It is important as the stills fill the gaps between individual skaters to save the ongoing dialog. Yes, I should have shot in progressive mode.

Right-click and set Field Options to Flicker Removal.

My very first editing project used a lot of freeze frames, and at the time I didn't know how to do it any other way than to export a still. I just use a frame hold nowadays. So, the interlaced stuttering drove me nuts. It looked fine on m PC but on the TV I connected, it looked horrible.
Figuring it out on my own was impossible, so that is when I started hanging out on forums. I got the answer and have been trying to help others ever since. |
