Workflow for importing HDV project into SD project at DVinfo.net

What is the process for bringing an edited HDV project into an SD project?

I have tried importing a project but when adding a sequence to the timeline and changing scaling to just over 50% the outer areas of the HDV footage is lost. How do I scale the HDV project to see the whole of the HDV picture in SD? the only way I can see is that the original capture files have to be used, but then any editing in the HDV project has been lost.

Footage is PAL 50i but I guess the question applies to all High def projects

What am I doing wrong?

It's ok - I've answered my own question. I was bringing the HDV project sequence onto another sequence. I should have just opened the sequence initially by double clicking on it.
