PPro 1.5.1 won't talk to my V1 anymore - Help needed
Hello all,
My V1 and PPro are not getting along for some reason. The only functions on PPro's capture window that I can press are Record and Stop. Play, Rewind, etc are 'grayed out'. But even Stop doesn't work. Only Record works. So I can capture, but it means I have to control the camera with the camera, and press record on PPro. And I'm certain that this is resulting in timecode errors. For example, I'm capturing a whole tape right now, and the camera is up to 45minutes but Premiere Pro is only up to 36minutes. I suspect I'm wasting my time until I fix the issue. So where do I start troubleshooting? I've restarted the computer more than once, I've tried plugging the camera in at different stages (before loading PPro, after/during, everything). Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -- John. Last edited by John Hewat; January 26th, 2007 at 08:51 PM. |

Figured it out.
For some reason, the "Device" setting in the "Device Control" box had gone to DV instead of HDV. I don't know why, since I don't even own a DV camera. I'll leave this up here in case there are other people as stupid as I am and make the same error. |
