Adobe Render & Record --- breaking it down somehow?

Hey everyone,

I've been exporting a lot of my HDV projects back to tape recently but the render and record stage can be pretty long sometimes when I'm transcoding a long timeline.

I don't really want to leave my camera on for 3-4 hours while it's transcoding and preparing to export to tape, but there's no alert saying "to record press okay" or anything, it just goes straight into the record stage after the render.

Is there a way to avoid this?
