Timeline for 24p, 30p and 60i
When I shoot something in 24p. How do I make sure it's in the correct timeline in PPro?
New project > Custom Settings Tab > Change timebase to to 25.00fps? And anything shot in 30p or 60i would go in a 29.97 dropped frame? This is correct? |

You want a 23.976 timeline for the 24p stuff.
60i and 30p are both fine on a 29.97 timeline, yes.

That's what I thought. But I don't see that option when setting up a new project. I only see it under the options when I go to export it to DVD.
Under the custom setting menu when I set up a new project only gives me an option of 25.00fps or 29.97fps |

If I recall correctly, Premiere Pro 1.0 was the first version to support 24p.
