Does HVR-A1U works with Premiere Pro 2.0? at DVinfo.net

I can't capture HD image (1080i 30) using PPr 2.0 from A1U. It's not on the HD device list on Adobe's web either.

So if I can't use Premiere for A1U, is there any other software that can capture from it?

I have had no problems capturing HDV from my A1U in PP 2.0. The device shows up as "DV/HDV Device Control". I did not have to install anything other than Premiere itself for it to work properly, though I have a lot of other video software on as well so I suppose that isn't a definate statement. I hope you get it figured out. Maybe an output setting is messed up on the camera?

I have used Adobe Premiere Pro 2 to edit my HDV stock footage with no problem.
It should read as “Adobe HDV” if I remember correctly.

Do you have Windows XP service pack 2 installed in your computer?
