pro 1.5 media encoder-exporting to mpg2
i'm exporting mp2 to be dumped to DVD
what is the best setting that i can export under. do i need to raise the gop settings and or field order i want to be able to encode the best possilbe output thanx

Hi Saturnnin,
Your best bet is to choose one of the DVD presets (the highest quality one) and then amend the video quality and bit rate, make sure that Constant bit rate is selected. However doing this will increase its size, and it might not fit on a DVD. So you need to way up quality against size. Burning at higher bit rates can also make the DVD incompatible in some DVD players. Further questions to do with DVDs will be best placed in the DVD forum. Cheers, Ed

highest bitrate I can get in Premiere Pro ?
Hi
What is the highest bitrate I can get in Premiere Pro 1.5/2.0 while exporting mpeg2 from Adobe Encoder please. We had a problem with Tv stations in accepting our 9800 kb mpeg2 file, done in Premiere 6.5. We are thinking to upgrade to Premiere Pro if it exports in higher Bitrate (about 25000 kb) mpeg2 file. Thanks |
