Issues with Multicam in Premiere 2017
I just "upgraded" (February 4th) from Pr CS6 to Pr 2017. I edit using a 3 cameras for a cooking show so the multicam feature is very important. I'm having several issues with multicam in Pr 2017. Playback studders when the muticam and preview windows are open. I tried closing the review window but that didn't help. However, if I changeover to the program monitor (composite video) playback is fine. Also, when I'm actually doing a multicam edit I cannot stop it. The CTL just keeps rolling along for a couple minutes and then stops. I press the space bar and the stop button but they don't work. If I exit muticam everything is fine. Crazy!
I never had one issue with this in CS 6. I read on Google this is a known issue with Adobe and no fixes or updates are out there. I assume a lot of large production houses do muticam edits so there must be an update or workaround or they would be screaming at Adobe. Can anyone help or suggest a work around. Thanks.
