Sending your sequence audio to Auditon in 24bit, not 16bit
Just discovered that despite recording video at XDCAM422 50Mbit and its associated 24 bit audio sampling, when I send the sequence audio from Premiere CS6 to Audition CS6 it is being sent as 16 bit audio only.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? Andrew |

Hi Andrew,
Is your Premiere Sequence set to 24-bit audio? I don't have experience with this particular setup, but that is the first thing I would look at. Thanks

Re: Sending your sequence audio to Auditon in 24bit, not 16bit
Hi Jeff!
It's done via Edit --> Edit in Audition --> Sequence. Premier outputs the audio files and opens them up in Audition for the user to continue working on them. I'm using the XDCAM HD422 1080P25 sequence preset. The interesting thing with the sequence settings is that it's only the sampling rate that can be specified and not the bit depth (which seems to be handled by whatever comes with the imported video file).
