Edit with no transcoding at DVinfo.net

Hello -

I've been looking around this forum (unsuccessfully so far) for guidance regarding my inquiry here:

I have a master clip that I want to edit into smaller master clips (not sub-clips) and store them on my HDD for future projects ... but I don't want to transcode them.

Is this possible with PPro or Prelude?

I've been tinkering around with both ... obviously with no success yet.

Not sure if it will work for you but might be worth looking into: TMPGEnc MPEG Smart Renderer 4
