Speeding up Export from Matrox
Is anyone using the Matrox Max hardware to speed up export (I believe it only works for h.264). I export mainly to MPEG2 for DVD and h.264 for Blu-Ray and archiving but I'd like to know if it lives up to the 5 X Faster claim!

Re: Speeding up Export from Matrox
Is premiere not using "cuda" from nvidia cards to speed up the export? Not that it is any help to you but just as reference, if I export a 1 minute sequence containing a file with no effects or colorcorrections from a nex-ea50 (50 frames/sec - 28mbs avchd 1920x1080) to a 25mbs h.264 file it takes my pc 17 seconds. My nle (edius) uses the onboard gpu from the motherboard to accelerate and I always thought premiere did the same but with the videocards?

Re: Speeding up Export from Matrox
Yes Noa I have a GeForce GTX 580 with 1.5GB memory and in Premiere I have GPU Acceleration enabled but I still get these rendering times.
