Dual monitors on Dell Poweredge 840
This was a redundant server that I thought would make a good video editor with CS4. Dell seems determined to make this as difficult as they can. I've pretty well got around many of these problems except I am used to using two monitors and disabling the onboard graphics is beyond me. It seems there are some video cards that will work with the onboard graphics enabled but I've not found one. As the second monitor just has the program monitor on it, I'm wondering if it would be possible to use a usb-hdmi convertor?

Re: Dual monitors on Dell Poweredge 840
Well I've sorted it using a redundant camera that has DV in. Firewire in and then AV to a 19" TV. It seems an ideal solution because it gives a more accurate colour interpretation. Only trouble is the Missus can't watch TV whilst I'm editing :)
