DVD - TS.VOB Files issues in Premiere
Hi All
I am trying to import some DVD clips into my Premiere project and not having much luck. When I view the DVD it all works fine but then in Premiere they skip and the audio is delayed or freezes :( I have already tried renaming the clips to MTS & MOV files with no success and also importing the clips to After Effects but this has the same result. Does anyone have any tips to get around this? Thank you!! |

Re: DVD - TS.VOB Files issues in Premiere
You need to rip the dvd to hdd first.
You can rename to .mpg. If the dvd has been made with a dvd recorder you might need to extract the vob's e.g. with Vob-edit.

So Diana. I am assuming you mean that you copied the VOB files to your hard disk and renamed the extension to MP4. And those files skip, delay or freeze?
You should be able to import the mp4s into Pr. I just did that yesterday, so I know it works (at least on Mac)
