How do you deactivate CS5 on a stolen computer
I have CS 5 installed on my desktop and laptop. Worked great. Never needed to upgrade because for the first time in 12 years of Adobe products exclusively, it worked without a flaw. Then the laptop gets stolen and I need to buy another one. I have deactivated several times but I had my computers in front of me. Anybody have this happen before? This might be my hint to subscribe to the cloud. I've been fighting that for some time too.
Thanks Art |

Call Adobe and tell them whats happened and they can deactivate it for you. I have done this before when I had a hard drive fail. Same net effect.

Yeah, I was thinking that was my only option.

Who Knows. Maybe Adobe can tell where your laptop is.

Did you not have a GPS sniffer installed, that enables 'track-and-trace'?

Call Adobe. I had to do it and it was easy. Cloud not needed.
